Kathy Hudson distributes her creative glass work under the name of Me-2-U Fused Glass. Kathy describes herself as a “late bloomer.” Like many others, she was taught to pursue work that would “pay the rent” rather than work that would fulfill her soul. Then she was introduced to the concept of “doing what you love and loving what you do.” It struck a chord within and she immediately began a quest to find and “follow her bliss.”

As fate would have it, Kathy found herself at age 40, unemployed in a very competitive job market. It was in this time period she found her heart’s passion in kiln-fired glass. Now, working in her studio overlooking beautiful Lake Travis in Austin, Texas, Kathy is constantly challenged and enthralled by creating fused glass pieces based on good design, eye-catching color combinations and patterns, with an eye toward functionality. Kathy atttributes much of the success of her business to her husband and soul-mate Bill, who enables and encourages her to follow her dreams. “As the name of the company implies, I hope you enjoy this piece of art glass from me, to you.”

Peggy Karr started Peggy Karr Glass in 1987 in her Morristown, New Jersey home. She was a self-professed “Starving Artist”. She supported herself with odd jobs by day while developing her craft by night. she had worked a lot with both stained glass and ceramics. She discovered a vintage piece of kiln fired glass and was intrigued with the thought “How did they make this?” She started putting some of her stained glass into her ceramic kiln and has never looked back.

With so many companies going overseas to produce their goods, she has chosen to stay true to her American Craft Heritage. That is why all of her glass is still individually handmade in her Randolph, New Jersey home. Here she can support local artisans while maintaining her exacting levels of quality and innovation.

With a degree in graphic design, Lori Siebert began her own firm (originally called Siebert Design Associates, now renamed "Olika") just three years after graduating. The firm is now nearly 20 years old and has produced everything from logos and packaging to large signage systems for client lists that includes Bath & Body Works, Target, Nickelodeon, Longaberger and Universal Studios.

Lori and her design team at Olika continue to create product, style guides and branding for major retail clients. They also license imagery and product concepts to a variety of individual manufacturers. Lori has created many gift products, table top collections, kitchen textiles and stationery items.

William McGrath,
has been combining earth, air, fire, and
spirit into these beautiful glass fusion pieces since 1988. He operates an enameling and fusing studio in Rochester, New York. His colorful fused glass bowls and platters are featured in many national and international galleries. Each piece is fused with hundreds of shades of color and permanently encased in crystal clear glass. Fusion Art Glass brings original designs by artist William McGrath to life. All of the exquisite designs are made from an intricate process of stenciling layers of powdered enamel on a glass surface, After the designs are tediously created, another piece of glass is placed on top, and then kiln fired for upwards to 20 hours; fusing all of the glass and color together. The end result is a handcrafted, one of a kind, colorful glass art form. Since the glass is fused by this special process, it does allow for full functionality of the art.
